Lala and Nini break script with the BEST EVER show made for Hallmark (probably because it was originally made for Netflix, but whatever).  Super Bingeable alert!

Starring Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, and Sadie Laflamme-Snow

What if you could meet or go back to your family “before” the trauma? Cue the tears. But it’s so good! A Hallmark show about time travel, generational trauma recovery, and 90s vibes and music?! Yes please! More please!

The Way Home season 2 is slated to premiere January 15, 2024.

Lala and Nini break script with their 5th Hynie movie.  YOU’RE WELCOME.

Starring: Janel Parrish, Pascal Lamoth-Kipnes, AND TYLER HYNES

“Never Been Chris’d” airs again Saturday, November 18th 1p CT/ 2pET on the Hallmark Channel.  https://try.frndlytv.com/

The Hynies showed out for this one. (For those of you who don’t know, #Hynies are fans of Tyler Hynes. Yeah, I know. Yes, it’s for real.) Like Hynies lit-erally watch and live tweet together and Tyler Hynes was not only trending in the good ol US of A, but ALSO in Canada at the same time! CRAY CRAY! The power of Hallmark fans is legit. That’s all I have to say because it wasn’t my favorite storyline.  A love triangle?! WHYYYYY?? Ironically, it was legit Christmas feels, comically entertaining, and a quality production with excellent acting. I just didn’t like the story. Sorry, not sorry. Lala disagreed. I’ve learned that when I have a dislike of the movie, I have a lot more to say. Enjoy today’s episode and please leave us a review and let us know what YOU think! -Nini

It’s like “Got Sushi” (sushi in a burger joint in the 818, you’re welcome) IFYKYK…I can never talk it up enough and it never disappoints.

Lala and Nini break script with one of their most favorite Hallmark Christmas Movies thus far!

Starring: Bethany Joy Lenz and Victor Webster

“Five Star Christmas” airs again TODAY on the Hallmark Channel on Thursday, November 9th 3p CT/4p ET. https://try.frndlytv.com/

This movie helped Lala realize that she loves a Hallmark movie with a real mystery. Keep us guessing, Hallmark! We don’t always want “predictable.” This is a comedic Christmas mystery with a fun and talented ensemble running a family inn to impress a travel critic. Let’s just say we laughed a lot and our “Oy With the Poodles” was the shortest it’s ever been.

Lala and Nini break script with the first 2023 Countdown to Christmas Hallmark Channel movie!

Starring Kim Matula and Kevin McGarry

“Checkin’ It Twice” airs again on the Hallmark Channel Tuesday, October 31st  7p CT/8p ET. https://try.frndlytv.com/

A wanna-be-semi-pro-hockey player meets a commercial-real-estate agent at a small airport in Idaho.  Their credit cards get mixed up and he ends up staying at her family’s cottage. That’s it. That is the plot. Spoiler alert: they kiss at the end.  What can I say? It was the first countdown to Christmas movie. It involved real estate, hockey, and cottages similar to Lala’s world…so we tried. Oy with the poodles already.

Lala and Nini break script with their F-O-U-R-T-H Tyler Hynes movie in their few short weeks since launching this podcast. This is probably our favorite Hallmark Christmas movie so far. It’s a RAVE for the brilliant writing in this one.

Starring Holland Roden AND TYLER HYNES!

“Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas” airs again TODAY on the Hallmark Channel on Thursday, October 26th 9a CT/10a ET. https://try.frndlytv.com/

This is our first episode breaking script with an actual mystery in a Hallmark movie!

The suspense starts almost immediately when Elizabeth receives a voicemail from a number she doesn’t recognize.  This is where Hallmark surprises us in a GOOD way. Trust us with this one. I know it doesn’t sound like much of a plot, but this one is suspenseful ALL the way through AND even deep?!
