Earl Weaver Earl's Orioles finished 1st or 2nd in the mighty AL East 13 times in his first 16 years as skipper. They finished 3rd in 1972, finished 4th with a 90-71 record in 1978 and finished 4th in the second half of the whacky 1981 season. Career record 1480-1060 for a .583 clip. Won 4 AL pennants and 1 World Series. Ejected 96 times in 17 seasons as manager.
