Hall of Famers by position. Third Basemen (17) lowest number of members other than Designated Hitters. Paul Molitor is considered a Third Baseman, rather than a DH or Second Baseman.
Portland Trail Blazers Carmelo Anthony’s Jersey Number Melo wants 7? Brandon Roy gives his “approval?” Brandon Roy “amnesty” deal. Such a travesty.

Mentioned: NBA G-League more.
Santa Cruz Warriors Kaiser Permanente Arena seats 2,505 “NBA G League Ignite” (Yes this is the name of a team that will be playing in the G-League in 2020 if everything works out). Coached by Sportlanders favorite, Brian Shaw. The Trail Blazers and the Nuggets are the only NBA teams without a G-League affiliate. Contact the Sportlanders if you want to talk about this phenomenon.

History of Dallas Cowboys #88. The first to wear it was the namesake of a good childhood friend and former baseball teammate of mine.
New York Football Giants at Seattle Seahawks
If anyone has more information on this “strategy” move we talked about, I am all ears. Contact us on social. Some statistics regarding field goal kicking accuracy. I hate the score 17-5 in football. 14-5, 20-5, 21-5 are all weird, but more palatable.
New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers
Anthony Lynn should not return as head ball coach. Belichick worked him hard.
Oakland Raiders at New York Jets
Jets snagged defeat from the jaws of victory. Gregg Williams, the biggest jerkface in the game of football was fired Monday, essentially for blitzing when a prevent defense of some sort was necessary.

Denny Dimes—Dennis Grosel passed for a school record (tied with the Great Flutie) 520 yards. Backup QB who started 7 games last season as a backup. Guy is a flat-out baller. Eagles rushed for a net -7 yards. Had 36 yards of positive yardage with a long of 7. Proved to be the difference. Cavaliers had 262 on the ground. 287 through the air with a bad passer. I may have a retrospective on the Eagles season on a future Daily Sportlander. Working on getting those up more consistently. Been busy.
BYU at Coastal Carolina
San Jose State @ Hawaii SJ State: Surprise team of the nation?
UCLA @ Arizona State
Good game. I like both coaches. Sad that ASU has only played 2 games. Quentin Lake #37 for UCLA, son of Carnell Lake #37 for Steelers, Jaguars, Baltimore (#31 for UCLA in the 1980s—85-88). I recall being a big fan of his. Loved the Steelers secondary in general back then.

Teal (the color, in uniforms). Horrible color. Works pretty well with the Miami Dolphins, not many others.
