You ever heard you never wanna watch sausage being made? Apparently, watching Governmental entities at work is similar, if you watched the Knox  County Commission's July 26, 2021 meeting it was great theater. Unless you had worked for a year and your plan, fell. That is what happened with the changes Commission Chairman Larsen Jay wanted for the Knox County Merit System and Council, his best laid plans fell. Then there was the controversy of the Bexhill Sector Plan and Rezoning that the worm took a turn, the sector plan and rezoning happened but not without some injury (so to speak)

On July 14, 2021 the Knox County School Board voted on two MOA's, one with Knoxville Police Department and one scheduled with Knox County Health Director Dr. Martha Buchanan. Interesting interactions and votes.

The City Council of Knoxville voted to approve the KUB Broadband plan, the Knox County Commission passed a civility code, they will discuss the Merit Council in a Special workshop of July 15, the Knox County Schools hosted a public meeting on how to spend $114 million in ESSER 3.0 funds, The Knox County School Board discussed the KPD MOA/MOU of placing Police Officers in City Schools alongside the Knox County Schools Security.

The filing deadline for the City of Knoxville 2021 City Council Races are set. The kickoffs for the Knox County 2022 campaigns are happening within the last week or so. KUB (knoxville utilities board) are wanting to provide Broadband Service. They are the provider for Electric, Water/Sewer and Natural Gas when you reside in their service area.
