In the second Trump administration I'm tracking all of President Trump’s executive orders. This story will be updated as he issues them. He’s signed 260 executive orders compared to 222 signed during the entirety of his first administration and 162 signed by President Biden during his administration. Additionally, President Trump has signed 142 presidential proclamations, 65 presidential memoranda.

What’s happening in Tallahassee this week has the potential to not only to reshape homeownership in Florida permanently, but potentially across the country eventually.

Hurricane season is underway amid a series of preseason hurricane forecasts calling for a below average season this year. With the hurricane inhibitor El Nino already influencing weather patterns from the Pacific to the Atlantic, in addition to a steady stream of Saharan dust, we’re entering this year’s season with the least favorable environment for hurricane development we’ve had in many years. For the fifth consecutive year we’ve entered hurricane season without having had a tropical system develop ahead of it.

No, the final determination didn’t lead to a final determination – which is frustrating; however, this isn’t another Ground Hog Day scenario within this 3+ month conflict. There appears to be reason to believe that substantive, historic, progress is being made.

Last week was a more of everything week for stocks filled with optimism and record highs for the major stock indexes – while cryptos continued their massive muti-year underperformance and gold and silver took a breather once again. The just concluded month was the best May for stocks in 36 years, putting into context the strength of the rally.
