Revisited: Q&A - Venezuelan Oil

As of Yesterday, when Border Czar Tom Homan, who took over ICE’s operational command in Minnesota after the Alex Pretti killing, announced the end of the Minneapolis ICE surge activities, approximately 25% of the 2,700 ICE agents operating in the area had already left.

Even in the best of economies there are people who fall on hard times and struggle (just fewer of them). That is to say that there will never be unanimity within this conversation and regardless of circumstances there will always be people struggling that one can point to as a counter point if they want to.

Today’s Q&A is a unique one. Rather than my answer of a listener’s question, I’m turning it over to Darlene Vanriper, the Executive director of the Martin County Taxpayers Association. Earlier this week, after my Top 3 Takeaways entitled: We Waste Our Money, But Government Doesn’t? Darlene sent me a series of Q&A’s pertaining to local government spending/decisions and property taxes that she’d addressed with concerned citizens in her community.
