I was down there talkin' to Dale at the ole dirt track. He said that Jim Bob done an LS swap on his old Camero. I said, "Boy, sounds like you need to listen to that there Bricked Pit talk about car movies." I tell you what. That Adam, Josh, and Jason talk about movies dealing with automobiles like Christine, Baby Driver, and Death Race 2000.
Yeah, he murdered a coffee shop full of people because the barista misspelled his name on a cup; but his dad died in a freak accident at Folgers. So I understand. Join the guys in the Pit as Jason, Adam, and Josh discuss the sympathetic villain. Listen in as they talk about Barry, Law Abiding Citizen, Skyfall, Unbreakable, Frankenstein, and Attack on Titan.
Do you have a headache? Are you coughing a lot? Well, according to Hollywood, that means that you're dyeing. As long as you're about to buy the farm, why not listen to the guys from the Bricked Pit talk about movies dealing with illnesses. Listen as Jason, Adam, and Josh discuss such films as Philadelphia, Rain Man, and The Shootist.
So I was walking down Rodeo Drive the other day when who should stop me but one... Steven Spielberg. Yeah. And he says to me, "Hey, that Bricked Pit is the best podcast that I've ever heard. Me and my buddy George... you know, George Lucas, never miss an episode." Yeah, that's it. And he loved how our latest episode is about unreliable narrators. Listen as Josh Hartnett, Adam Driver, and Jason Sudeikis discuss such films as The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Memento, Atonement, and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
It's a new year. That mean another poorly thought out episode from The Bricked Pit. This time Adam, Jason, & Josh discuss movies that came out in previous years ending in the number four. Listen as they discuss 1924's Sherlock Jr., 1994's In the Mouth of Madness & True Lie's, 1984's Top Secret!, 1974's Zardoz, and the 2014 Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy.
It's Christmas, and that means a lot of things here in The Bricked Pit. Decorating the Pit in lights, bows, and pictures of Bruce Willis in an air duct. The annual bribing of the Mayor of Hollywood to keep from being shut down during the strikes. And the viewing of horrible Hallmark movies. Listen as Josh, Jason, and Adam discuss the absolute mediocrity that is the romantic Christmas TV movie. They're so forgettable that we even can't remember what we've talked about to list it here in the show notes.
Whether it's Jean-Luc Goddard's Breathless or Akira Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress, there's something about watching a foreign film in its original language. The Pit goes international as Jason, Adam, and Josh discuss some of their favorite foreign language films such as The Platform, After Life, and The Nest.
Break out the fine china and set additional chairs at the table. It's the Thanksgiving season in the US, and that means that the guys from the Pit are going to discuss food movies. Listen as Josh, Adam, and Jason discuss such food themed movies as Thinner, Ratatouille, Chef, The Bear, and The Stuff.
