The Bible teaches that God established the standards for right and wrong when He laid the foundations of the world. But recently, politicians and policymakers have become self-appointed authors of moral law. Dr. Robert Jeffress shows how the spiritual decline of today’s culture is a sign of turbulent times ahead.

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, He didn’t restore sight to just one eye. He didn’t feed most of the 5,000. He didn’t calm the storm on only half the Sea of Galilee. And He didn’t give part of His life on the cross to pay for some of our sins. As someone has said, “Sin had left a crimson stain, and He didn’t wash it light pink.” Today on A NEW BEGINNING, Pastor Greg Laurie points out how Jesus gave His all . . . and the only appropriate response from us is to give our all.

In this episode of The Creative Connection, Ed Young suggests that Jesus would tell Jerry Jones and others not to attempt to make deals with God, but rather to accept God's terms, reflecting on the nature of divine agreements and our human tendency to negotiate with our Creator.
When times are good, it’s easy to rely on ourselves. But when calamity strikes, we need a support system. In this message from Jeremiah 17, Pastor Lutzer shows three resources we have in drought times: God’s Word, God’s presence, and God’s people. Are we connecting with fellow believers so that we can all bear fruit together?

Hebrews Chapter 6 brings a stern warning to Jewish Christians not to abandon their faith in Christ. The impossibility discussed here is not about losing salvation by committing sins, but about the deliberate, final rejection of Christ after fully knowing the truth. The chapter emphasizes that it is
impossible for God to lie and assures us of his promises. Jesus is
shown as superior to all, and faith in him is necessary for salvation.
This chapter serves as a reminder that once we have embraced the
way of righteousness and been filled with the Holy Spirit, turning
our backs on Jesus is senseless, and true believers will always
return to the Lord.
Many western countries are putting the right of conscience and speech to the test.
