Jeff leads us in a Lectio Divina practice for our meditation together and Karina shares on this week's Beatitude: Blessed are those who Hunger and Thirst for Justice for they will be Satisfied. 

Janine leads us in a thoughtful mediation and Dean preaches on doormats, horses and redefining meekness.

Sarah shares a meditation on Comfort. Karina and Jenn tag-team a message on The Beatitude for this week: Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.  We look at the story of Lazarus, practices for navigating grief and trauma, and how grief shows up in our anti-racism journey. 

Esther shares a guided meditation on Compassion and Brad gives us the full meal deal on what it means Literally, Morally and Spiritually to consider "Blessed are the Poor in Spirit."

The meditation today includes a breath prayer practice and a reading of "The Beatitudes, From Slavery to Civil Rights"  written by Carole Brown Weatherford and Illustrated by Tim Ladwig.

Sarah shares a sermon with an overview of the text will we will focus on this fall:  The Beatitudes from Matthew 5:1-12 and invites us to consider:  What is the Lego we are stepping on?
