In this week’s message, Pastor Matthew Cole teaches from Jude 1 about the importance of knowing what we believe and being able to recognize what doesn’t line up with the Word of God.
Jude warns the church about false teaching, rebellion, and the danger of becoming comfortable with sin. What we believe eventually affects how we live, which is why we can’t allow our feelings, desires, or even an open door to determine God’s will.
We have to know His Word, look at the fruit, walk in humility, and keep choosing His way over our own.
Sanctification is a process. God is still growing us, correcting us, and calling us closer to Him.

Jesus is not a resource, He's the source!

Genesis 3:6-13

v/s 9 - Where are you?

- Are you spiritually absent?

- Are you present but not in His presence?

v/s 11 - Who told you that?

- God will confront the voices who are lying to you.

- Are you listening more to the world or to Jesus?

v/s 13 - What have you done?

- Will you take responsibility for your actions?

God Asks questions so He can transform you.

God is able!!

Grace in action

1. He provides a Savior

2. He covers you

3. He died for you

Ask yourself

1. Where are you with your relationship with Jesus?

2. What lies do you keep believing?

3. When are you going to let Jesus transform you?

4. What are you going to now with Jesus?

The problems you are going through are an opportunity for God's grace to be all over it!!

Everybody Wrestles | Matthew Cole | 9.20.26

Having questions doesn’t mean you don’t have faith. Sometimes God uses the questions we wrestle with to take our faith deeper.

In this message, Pastor Matthew Cole walks through the book of Habakkuk and the tension of trusting God when what we see doesn’t seem to line up with what we know about Him. Habakkuk questioned the injustice, hurt, and brokenness around him, but he didn’t allow his questions to pull him away from God. He brought them to God.

Sometimes we only see the backside of the tapestry. We see the knots, loose threads, and things that don’t make sense, while God sees the whole picture He is creating. It’s not wrong to wrestle. The danger is getting so focused on the why that we lose sight of the Who.

Habakkuk ends in a much different place than he started: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” Even if nothing around me changes, my faith is not based on circumstances. God is still good.

🎙️ The Weight of Waiting

Waiting is hard, especially when you’ve prayed, trusted, and believed... and nothing seems to be changing.
But waiting doesn’t mean God is absent.
This week, Pastor Matthew walks through James 5 and reminds us that there is purpose in the waiting. God is still moving in places we can’t see. He is strengthening our hearts, growing our faith, and teaching us to keep showing up even when the field looks barren.
Don’t waste the wait. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep planting. Keep being faithful to the last thing God told you to do.
Because just because God hasn’t done it yet doesn’t mean He isn’t doing something.
And if He was faithful before, He will be faithful again. ❤️
What if instead of asking, “God, when?” we started asking, “God, what do You want to do in me while I wait?”

Let God be God.

We say we trust Him, but what happens when the storm comes? When tomorrow feels uncertain? When something isn't going the way we planned? So often our first instinct is to grab hold of it, fix it, control it, or figure out what happens next.

The disciples were in the boat with Jesus, terrified of a storm they couldn't control, while the One who had authority over the wind and the waves was right there with them.

And how often do we do the same thing?

God is the Judge. God holds tomorrow. God deserves our obedience. Sometimes the most obedient thing we can do is move when God says move. And sometimes it's taking our hands completely off something that was never ours to handle in the first place.

It's not your job to carry God-weight.

So where are you trying to carry something that belongs to God? Where are you trying to control tomorrow, fix someone else, force an outcome, or make sense of a storm when Jesus is already in the boat?

During second service, Pastor Matthew Cole followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and the message took a different direction. And maybe there's something in that for all of us too. How willing are we to change direction when the Holy Spirit says, We're going this way instead?
