There opportunities where others only see trees. If we are going to seize them, we have to CLEAR THE LAND.

Patience allows us to seize opportunities that we would have otherwise missed.

We look at the biblical account of a man named Simon who walked away from an opportunity that could have transformed his life.

As we look over lives, we often see opportunties that we missed. We don't realize we missed an opportunity until it is gone. What if we can take advantage of opportunities instead of always living in regret due to missing them? We may not be able to regain opportunities that have passed, but we can capture those right in front of us.

As we approach the Easter season, we are reminded of the Jesus redemptive work for us. Jesus not only died for us individually. Jesus died for the body of Christ, of which we are a part. We honor one another by serving one another. Though we may do good to others, Scripture commands that we give greater preference to those of the household of faith.

Some Christians use unbelievers’ lack of faith to justify dishonoring them. The way we treat unbelievers can impact how they view God. We must be a church that honors those on the outside. As we approach Easter, we must remember a dying world for whom Jesus died.

While some may not have a problem honoring those above them, it can be difficult to honor those “below” them. This may include those that are actually lower in rank or individuals who we perceive to be lower than us.

To maintain honor in marriage husbands and wives must...

1. Understand and accept the divine order of marriage.

2. Prioritize your character, over your appearance.

3. Use your sensitivity to care for your spouse and your strengths to lighten their load.

4. Treat your spouse like your prayers depend on it.

The first person that is worthy of honor is God Himself. Before we can honor others, we have to honor the one who created them.

Looking at the moral compass of our society can cause us to be very discouraged. Challenges that are happening around the globe can make us feel hopeless. However, throughout history, moral decline have been followed by moments of great spiritual awakening. It is time for us to experience an awakening. We can no longer be asleep. God wants us to be fully awake.
