For some people, fear can be one of the biggest motivating factors in life. Maybe that's fear that their finances won't be enough, fear that they'll never amount to their biggest aspirations, or fear that they're kids won't be successful. For others, at least on the surface it isn't. Whatever level of natural confidence we have in our outcome, one thing is certain. No natural confidence can ever compare to supernatural peace. That is the very peace that God brings through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Will you trust Him to settle your soul and bring you peace from on high today?

Spiritual hunger isn't like physical hunger. Spiritual hunger grows when you feast, and dwindles when you abstain from spiritual bread. It is the motivation that drives us into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Pastor Cami unpacks the ways that the Lord meets us in our desire for Him and stirs us up to love and good works in this inaugural message of 2023.

Pastor Ryan ends the teaching series on Wonder with a look at the wisemen (or magi) and how they were drawn to worship Jesus. All people are created for, and do, worship. The question is simply, "what do you worship?". Do you worship (or put your trust in) money, good works, yourself, a political party or ideology; or do you trust in the Living God who rules over all creation? This Christmas, remember to never lose your wonder at the ways God draws us into relationship that we might know and worship the only One worthy.

The Good News is good no matter where you are in your relationship with faith. Whether you feel like there have been too many damages to that relationship to ever be made whole again or you've been faithfully pursuing Jesus for decades, we all need to be reminded of the beauty, majesty, and power of the Good News of the present and future Kingdom of Jesus Christ. This Christmas, remember to never lose your wonder of the restorative and regenerative work of the Good News.

What does a life of faith look like? What does it mean to trust God when He says "Go."? Where does that faith come from and what does it form in us to practice it? Pastor Ryan continues our advent series of Wonder by looking at the story of Joseph, the man who acted as Jesus earthly father, and the gift of faith. This Christmas, remember to never lose your wonder at the ways God has invited us to trust in Him and to let Him lead our lives.

God is the giver of every good and perfect gift. This week begins a new series of Wonder at the gifts that God gives us and the ways that we can respond to His generosity. Week 1 looks at the way that God chooses to partner with humans throughout the entirety of Scripture but specifically through the lens of Mary, the mother of Jesus. She was a fallible human in a city most thought badly of. She was unremarkable by most earthly metrics, and yet, the God of the universe saw fit to partner with her for the sake of His entry into flesh in order to save the world from their sins. That is remarkable! This Christmas, remember to never lose your wonder of the ways God has chosen to partner with us.

A new Heavens and a new Earth. Jesus will make all things new. That is the End of the Story. That is the ultimate direction that history as we know it is headed. The question for each of us as we look forward to it is "Will I choose to participate?" He won't force us, but He welcomes us to be full participants in His coming Kingdom. He's called us coheirs with Christ should we choose to accept the designation. THAT is the End of the Story.

After Jesus comes back there will be a time where He reigns from this Earth. And what's more, His Saints will reign alongside Him. Pastor Ryan continues us through out series on The End of the Story.

There are times where the Biblical Authors were intentionally vague, stirring us to meditate on the Scriptures daily. Inviting us to read along with the Holy Spirit to uncover the depths of truth contained within and to grow in relationship with The Father and Son along the way. One thing that is perfectly clear though? Jesus Will Return. He is coming back to be King over all creation and partner with His Saints to do so. The question isn't "If?", but "When?".

It's easy to pick sides. It's easy to treat others the way they do treat us, not the way we wish they would. It's easy to fight back against those who persecute us, disagree with us, speak badly about us, or attack us. Those things are not the Way of Jesus though. We finish our series through the Sermon on the Mount looking at how Jesus calls us to love. It's impossible apart from His Spirit, but praise God He gave us His Spirit to aid us and form us into the types of people who love well and love the way He does.
