Evan talks about victories over the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks as well as the loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Evan also gives out the first "Player of the Week Award" for the 2022-23 season before previewing the Hornets' week 2 schedule.

Evan previews and predicts the season including the Hornets' ceiling and floor and whether they will go over or under their win total. Evan also gives out his Hornets superlatives, as he predicts the most improved player, the best young player, and the MVP. The "Player Preview Series" comes to a close with the Nick Richards preview episode. Evan talks about Richards' performance in the preseason, what he needs to improve on the most this year, and what would constitute a "successful" season. Evan also recaps the Hornets' preseason performance as Charlotte goes 0-5 and loses LaMelo Ball to an ankle injury that will force him to miss the start of the regular season.

Finally, Evan explains what be believes will be a "successful" season for Thor.

Evan also shares what he believes will mark a successful rookie year for McGowens.

Evan takes a look at Dennis Smith Jr.'s previous stops in the NBA and shares what he believes he needs to improve upon the most this season. Evan also explains what he believes will define a successful season for the Hornets' new point guard.

Evan then dives into his preview of fourth-year forward Jalen McDaniels. Evan reviews McDaniels' performance a season ago before explaining what he beleives McDaniels needs to improve upon the most this season. Finally, Evan states we he believes would define a successful season from McDaniels in 2022-23.
