Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite joins host John Doran.
In our host's own words, "Scottish masters of the sublime Mogwai found fertile new ground between post-rock, goth and indie during the '90s. Offering a welcome counterbalance to the comparatively lighter sounds of Britpop. Nine studio albums later, for many, they remain to this day a blue print of what an independent group should be.”

Everything But The Girl’s Tracey Thorn in conversation with Noisey host John Doran.
In host John Doran’s own words, “Tracey Thorn is a singular English musician whose instantly identifiable voice has towered over the pop-cultural landscape from the 1980’s to the present day. After being a member of the none more cult Marine Girls, who were one of Kurt Cobain’s favourite bands, Tracey’s voice was then everywhere in the mid-90s due to her work with Massive Attack and most significantly as one half of Everything But The Girl, with their track ‘Missing’ accidentally becoming an undisputed anthem of the era.
Since then, she has become a respected author and journalist and has recently returned to the musical fray with an album of disco belters called ‘Record’."

We go back to when John met The Fall’s Mark E Smith
In John's own words: "There are only a few things that separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom... the most important of these attributes, is an appreciation of the music of The Fall. This means if you do not listen to such albums as 'Hex Enduction Hour', 'This Nation's Saving Grace' and 'The Unutterable' you are worse than savage. The solution to what ails us is clear -- be less beastly, listen to The Fall"
