The Broad Street Line

The Philadelphia Eagles were on the doorstep on their second straight appearance in the NFC Championship Game... until the magic ran out. Now that the lockers have been cleaned out, we'll take a few moments to look back on a wild 2018 season...

Sean McVay out here getting all these dudes coaching jobs... we'd like to meet him just once so we can come up, too. Maybe new Temple head football coach Rod Carey met McVay to help him land the gig as Manny Diaz's replacement!

Nick Foles, Golden Tate and... Cody Parkey come up big for the Eagles, but can the Birds keep it rolling against the New Orleans Saints this weekend? We'll answer that question and take a way-too-early look at Royal Rumble on this edition of The Broad Street Line - come take a ride!

RIP to the Great Mean Gene Okerlund...

On this episode of The Broad Street Line, we give props the Eagles for sneaking in the back door of the NFC postseason. And keeping with the football theme, we pour out some liquor for the Temple Owls, who only had a head coach for a couple of weeks. Later in the show, we discuss the alleged conflict between Jimmy Butler and Brett Brown.

2018 was a wild year in the world of sports, and we put a bow on it before the calendar switches to 2019. We also predict whether or not Zion Williamson will be a transcendent star and whether Anthony Davis will eventually link up with LeBron in Miami.

Forget the Foles vs. Wentz nonsense... the most important question is: Do the Eagles have a legit shot at the postseason? We'll answer that, lament over the state of the Sixers' bench AND recap a wild WWE TLC card from this past weekend... come take a ride on The Broad Street Line!

Another week, another set of Markelle Fultz updates. But the biggest news is the Phillies' signing of Andrew McCutchen. While the team is still waiting on Harper and Machado, they're definitely building the pieces for a championship team.

We hate to be THOSE GUYS, but the Philadelphia Eagles played at a severe disadvantage on the field Sunday against the Cowboys. Things don't look much better for them going forward, and things don't look good in the WWE right now as they head into the final PPV of 2018.

While Jimmy Butler does it again, we're still waiting for Markelle Fultz to do... something. And while the Sixers struggle with the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia Eagles have plenty to say about their NFC East foes.

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Toronto Raptors for the 12th straight time north of the border despite the recent addition of Jimmy Butler. What do they need to get over the hump, and will Markelle Fultz be that missing piece.
