Arthur along with Tamie and the rest of the family are a valued part of the Broadie community. Before ending up at Broadie, the Davis family lived in Tanzania for 10 years where Arthur led the University Students Evangelical Ministry. Arthur has a gift for listening well to others, and puts this to use as a ministry coach, supervisor and chaplain. He is passionate about justice and creation care, grows excellent facial hair and makes a great coffee.

This is the second from our series on living as an authentic community. Jeremy returns to a favourite Broadie passage, John 4, and unpacks what it shows us about Jesus' way of doing hospitality – that it's not just about giving hospitality, but receiving it as well.

Jeremy is a pastor at a Christian school, sharing the truth and love of Jesus while supporting thousands of students since he started over a decade ago. He has known Broadie pastor Andrew Foster for many years and both have a passion for playing music. Jeremy is always up for a game of cricket, listening to some shoegaze music, and spending time with his wife and two children.

This is the first sermon of a series encouraging our church to live as an Authentic Community. It features Jesus' Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). Apologies for the sound quality changing drastically part way through! We had to record it in two halves.

This is the final sermon in our series on the Holy Spirit in the Gospel of John.

Miria and her husband Mark are key leaders in our community. Both are dedicated to seeing others come to know Jesus, His love for the world and His grace and power in their lives. They enjoy a good board game over coffee, singing worship in the car, a musical, being part of a full house at the Adelaide Oval, and a good cruise.

For this Sunday, Darryl stepped in at the last minute to cover for Ps Andrew, who was unwell. They had both just come back from a trip to Cambodia to learn more about The Cultural and Contextual (CQ) Intelligent Church – the next step of the 2035 Project that our church taking part in, and which Darryl is leading.

Rev Darryl Bishop is on staff with Baptist Churches SA & NT where his focus is to support and equip the many multicultural churches and leaders of our movement. Darryl has served as a pastor in churches both in Adelaide and in country SA. He is the very loved dad and father-on-law of our pastors Rachael and Andrew Foster. He is also an exceptional granddad (not just because he always sneakily buys his grandkids McDonalds).

Chris, Steph and their kids are a loved part of our Broadview community. Chris has a PhD in theology with a focus on the Gospel of John. He works for Bible College SA here in Adelaide and loves to dig deeper into the New Testament and ride his bike up and through the Adelaide Hills.

Rev Dan Beasy is the Associate Director of Ministries for Baptist Churches SA&NT.  When Dan was the Lead Pastor of Rostrevor Baptist Church for 11 years and was a critical part of helping Broadie be what it is today. Chris is the chair of our Broadview Leadership Team. Chris is the current president of Bible College SA and a well respected tertiary lecturer in Engineering and Sciences. At home, he is a dad, a husband and, whilst he doesn't look old enough, is also a granddad to some very special little people in our church family.
