Many don't think a blind person is capable of learning multiple languages but, I beg to differ. As a blind person myself, I am both learning how to write and speak Hebrew. This is a language that has always been fascinating to me but, I never could learn it until I got my iphone. It opened up my world in an entirely new way. While I recognize that a sighted person may know how to write and read a new language, they might find speaking and or recognizing words rather difficult but, a blind person who learns by hearing has to learn how to write and speak it as the screen reader is already reading it to us. I don't get into the braille table for Hebrew here but, I am learning that as well.
