Last week, the BLR crew attended DC PodFest 2017, the third installment of an annual event that tackles all things related to podcasting, with a focus on the DC area. The two-day conference was full of informative live events, speaker sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

DC PodFest was held at the Wonderbread Factory in the historic Shaw community in our nation's capital - right around the corner from Howard University - so we had to discuss whether or not we felt that "our" community was represented properly at the event. We also gave our analysis of the speaker sessions and the structure of the event, and what nuggets of information we were able to take home with us.

Also, on Day Two, we were joined by Mike Richardson, one of the hosts of a dope podcast entitled Faith Uncut.
