THE BRVTALIST

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Digital Injection x Viziion. "Blind Scenes" comes off the new v/a, BALKAN STORIES, forthcoming on Greek label REJUV. The release is a genre-bending compilation that weaves together the raw spirit of the Balkans with the pulse of contemporary electronic music. From broken beats and reggaeton to bass-heavy explorations and experimental club sounds, the album showcases a rich spectrum of styles contributed by independent artists from across Greece and Europe.

This project is more than just a music release—it’s a platform. A statement. A celebration of community and creativity. The collective is committed to empowering emerging voices, giving artists full control over their work and profits. Each purchase directly supports the producers behind the tracks.

Instead of a traditional CD, BALKAN STORIES comes in the form of a specially designed art book. When you buy the artwork, you receive a download code for the full album via Bandcamp—merging the visual and sonic into a unified, collectible experience.

Above all, BALKAN STORIES is about connection. It brings together a diverse group of artists who use music and image to reimagine their roots, pushing boundaries while staying grounded in a shared heritage. This is not just a compilation—it’s a creative snapshot of a living, evolving Balkan identity.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Mogano. "Neon Eclipse" comes off the new v/a, TERRA MALEDICTA, forthcoming on Portuguese imprint Rapture. The release is the first in a series of four albums that evoke the elements of a cursed and putrefied planet, in a time when the future appears uncertain and the world as we know it approaches an abyss. "Neon Eclipse" from Mogano is one of 6 tracks in the new Rapture VA, which will feature also artists such as Kara Konchar, Nghtly, Punshukunshu, Revolt and Ruben Seoane in another compilation where the aesthetics of obscurantism serve as the guiding theme to mesmerize listeners.

"Neon Eclipse" delivers a chest-destroyer kick and a half-tempo feel suggested by a noisy snare negotiate the available spectrum with the incoming waveshaped synth. Its movement is infectious and becomes tridimensional when other atmospheric elements play around it.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Pert. "Skin" comes off the new v/a, Papilio Bachus, forthcoming on Slovenian imprint Mozaix. The second metamorphosis of the Mozaix family—a celebration of power, transformation, and the divine feminine in all its forms. This butterfly is known for its rare beauty and striking duality: soft cream tones contrasted by bold, dark margins. It mirrors the strength and sensitivity embodied by FLINTA artists and their creative expression.

In this chapter, Mozaix hands the stage entirely to FLINTA artists—those too often underrepresented in electronic music—proving that mastery, depth, and innovation know no gender. The compilation flows through hypnotic textures, raw grooves, and bold sonic statements, each track a wingbeat in a collective flight toward visibility and liberation.

The name references Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and ecstatic ritual, whose rites were often led by women and gender-nonconforming individuals. Bacchus symbolizes liberation through rhythm, creative chaos, and trance-like transformation—an energy this VA fully embraces.

Just like the butterfly itself, these artists emerge from the cocoon of silence, taking flight with intention and power. Papilio Bacchus is not just a VA. It’s a movement. A toast to transformation, to freedom, and to the women and gender minorities who produce with heart, fire, and unstoppable force.
