Being influenced by many different kinds of music. This song that I did has more of a hip hop influence to it. I got real personal with my listeners here not holding anything and telling some of the key parts of my life to my listeners. There was no question about what I would all it. This is one that many loved and that also surprised many. One of my favorites that I have done. It felt good to open up to my listeners and tell my story. I wrote the lyrics over the course of a few nights over a beat that I had liked. When I took it to the studio I added some slight guitar over the beat along with my vocals and it was complete. This was a song that I wrote that I wrote about the death of a friend that overdosed. The title really speaks for itself. You can't take your life for no gamble. Its got a driving groove rock type of vibe. We shot a video for it in Louisville, Kentucky and the song was featured on my 2nd album "Pay The Price". This song is a nice mix of R&B and a slight rock vibe to it towards the end. I was asked to write a song for a reality show that was in the making called "Sugar Babies". I wrote the lyrics that came to mind, had a beat made, and added my guitar parts and it all came together just right. We shot a video for it and had a good time using the green screen. This is kind of like 2 songs in one. "Truth" was an intro that I wrote for my 2nd album "Pay The Price". A real nice laid back bluesy kind of song. It leads in to "Hey Joe". A Jimi Hendrix cover that I did on my first self titled album "The Bryant C. Project". This Hendrix song was one of the first songs of his that I learned and one of his first that I remember catching my attention as a child. One of my favorites from Hendrix as well. I love playing it. This is from my recent guest spot on Lexington Kentucky's WRFL LIVE. College radio station at the University of Kentucky.
