Episode #62 In this episode, I'm excited to introduce Derek Thomas, a second-generation realtor with deep Denver roots, whose journey in the industry has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Derek's story is a testament to the enduring impact of family influence. He hails from a lineage deeply connected to real estate, with his father being a prominent real estate investor and developer in Arizona's multifamily market. From a young age, Derek absorbed the foundational knowledge that would ultimately shape his own thriving career.

What sets Derek apart is his remarkable ability to assess and analyze investment opportunities, particularly in Denver's rapidly evolving real estate market. His skills were so exceptional that they lured his retired father back into the industry. Together, they've masterfully navigated multiple developments and successful fix-and-flip projects.

Derek's educational journey includes earning a bachelor's degree in business management from Metro State University and completing training at the Graduate Realtor Institute. His dedication to his profession extended to a six-year tenure on the board of the South Metro Denver Real Estate Association (SMDRA).

With nearly two decades of experience under his belt, Derek has become a trusted and highly respected figure in South-East Denver, serving communities such as Parker, Franktown, Castle Rock, and Lonetree.
