"Now I entrust it to you. To receive and keep, read and recite, and proclaim this Law abroad that all living beings universally may hear and know it. ... Do you also follow and learn the Tathagata's example, not being mean or stingy (of the teachings). If good sons or good daughters in ages to come, believe in the Tathagata-Wisdom, do you proclaim this Law-Flower-Sutra (MyoHoRenGeKyo) to them that they may hear and know it, in order that they may obtain the Buddha-Wisdom. If there be living beings who do not believe in it, do you show, teach, benefit, and rejoice them with the other [tactful] profound Laws of the Tathagata. If you are able thus to act, then you will have repaid the grace of all the Buddhas."

This brief chapter is the exhortation on how to practice this Buddhist method in the days after the Buddha's extinction and for the next over 15 thousand years.

Divine in that this chapter deals with a shorthand (of the Avatamsaka or Flower Garland Sutra) of the actual experience of enlightenment. These are facets of perception in Buddhahood, or as I like to call it, "Buddhaness".

As humans in Samsara, we travel through the ten worlds, hundred worlds, 3000 realms in each moment of our life experience. Because of this Shakyamuni realizes, as does Nichiren, that we may sometimes feel unsatisfied with our practice. So this admonition applies both to our personal and to our outward influence in daily practice.

As we close to the end of this Gosho, Nichiren ends his discussion on the appearance of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth.

In part 6 we dive into the Teachings of the various parts of the Lotus indicating that this ultimate method of immediate experience of the Buddha mind inherent within our human experience was expected to transmit to our modern era or Later Day of the Law.

One of the chapters of the Lotus Sutra that describes the Bodhisattva practice. In this chapter much of the teaching regards the vastly greater experience of Enlightenment that contribute to the "full or Perfect" Enlightenment previously unattainable through solo or self-only attainment of liberation.
