We remember Congressman John Lewis and try to forget some of the more questionable tributes made to him by his fellow members of Congress. We also discuss the *colorful* language used by Rep. Ted Yoho, and why AOC continues to be a politician we would stan if we subscribed to stan culture. Then, it's the show on everyone's lips these days: we share our thoughts on the latest Netflix sensation "Indian Matchmaking", and break down our experiences with culturally-informed dating practices and take comments from you, the listeners, on this topic. And as always, some more music to spice up those summer playlists.

America (and Canada) were never great and things aren't looking so great for the future either. On this week's episode, we discuss our cross-border experiences with Canada Day and American Independence Day. We also introduce a new segment, "It's Getting Weird," inspired by the master shade thrower Nene Leakes, where we chat about Kanye West's endeavor for political "Power" and the out of *left* field Tik Tok sensation that is Claudia Conway. Plus, new playlist additions which would make solid national anthem replacements. 

On this episode, we celebrate Jeffrey's birthday the best way we know how: by donating to various organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community, and and getting slightly tipsy while we play the Drag Race Drinking Game (made by Reddit user keanehoody). We finish off the episode and Pride Month by adding our favorite Pride Anthems to the playlist. 

This episode is dedicated to Sara Hegazy, an Egyptian LGBTQ+ activist who passed away last week as a result of PTSD stemming from the trauma she endured while in prison. We will remember her and may she rest in power.
