Key take aways: The Democracy Voucher program (which we still like) prevents candidates from raising enough money to execute as sophisticated of a communications strategy as Mamdani did, NYC progressives did not give Cuomo the political cover that Seattle progressives are giving Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, P3 most likely won't spend in the mayor's race this year, and Ashley called Harrell daddy...

Adam Smith for his seat.  Smith has taken to attacking so-called “new Left” extremists, saying Democrats are failing to govern well because they’re too focused on “concepts like ‘settler colonialism’ instead of on more immediate problems in people’s everyday lives.” So, the Burner gals play a game of "Who said it, Adam Smith or a Generic Republican?"

We're talking the $10 late fee cap, notice about rental increases, and limits on move in fees. All of this is actively at risk RIGHT NOW. With no Seattle Council Member even attempting to organize an effective pushback to this Council's assault on renters, Kshama has to step up. Join her at 2 pm Tuesday at Seattle City Hall.
