The Burnouts

For the fifth week in a row, the highly experienced and intelligent panel of automotive enthusiasts known collectively as the Burnouts come together to blow your mind with the latest stories in automotive news and car culture deep dives. It’s a slow news week, so we get new spy shots of a mid-engine Corvette, more Supra news, and rumors of a new Honda S2000. Our deep dive this week includes a short talk on HPDE and racing insurance.

After a week off due to technical difficulties, the Burnouts are back in session and there’s plenty to run through. Yes, Dodge announced yet another high horse power stomper, but it doesn’t get to 60 in under three seconds. Ford accidentally flashes their new Bullitt and the Eclipse makes an ugly return.
