How will your child learn about sex? What will they they associate it with? Do you know even where to start with this?
Mandi Nuttall, the best-seller author of The Birthday Suit books and her husband Matt share with us how they taught their kids about sex starting from the day they are born. Don't worry, everything is age appropriate and in the right manner.
Starting with their body parts (because they're all parts of our body!!) and all the way till age 18 where they're off on their own, their children have a special birthday meeting with both parents to learn about their bodies and sex.
This make sure the children are learning all the right information, from you, not from the streets. And best part? It brings everyone closer together.
As a former high school health teacher and D1 collegiate volleyball player, Mandi has now adopted the self-proclaimed titles of taxi driver, nutritionist, doctor, therapist, personal trainer, cancer fighter, interior designer, janitor, photographer and chef, all since marrying her soulmate and becoming a mother of 5 children including twins. Life isn’t boring. Mandi believes in the limitless potential within families to do good and raise knowledgeable children. She witnessed the lack of knowledge in her High School students when teaching about the body and self in her Health class, and knows how hard it is for parents to feel confident in teaching this subject. So she wrote The Birthday Suit books to make the process simple, and empower parents to then encourage their children to respect and love their body. We have one shot to teach our kids to honor their body, and we can't leave that up to the world—it's our job and divine responsibility.
