In this episode we analyse the balance sheet of a growing UK haulage company.

We look at the following figures to see where there may be some financial challenges and the potential solutions:

Is the growing trade debtor amount going to start putting a squeeze on the companies cashflow?

Are they self funding? If so we look at the potential risks and whether the company has a credit insurance/bad debt protection policy in place to protect their revenue?

We look at the Fixed Assets and discuss if they are paying cash or using Asset Finance. If they are using Asset finance, are they doing a whole of market search each time, or just going with the same lender due to time constraints?

Finally we look at some working capital products that may be relevant, including Invoice Finance, Revolving Credit Facilities, Corporation Tax Loans and VAT Loans.
