The collapse of Booktopia is reverberating with creditors, publishers and authors owed millions after the popular online bookseller went into receivership earlier this month.

The failure has highlighted emerging challenges right across the industry, as the cost of living crisis combined with higher costs for paper and printing put the squeeze on publishers and booksellers alike.
