It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to discuss innovation with Ben and how organisation approach hyper-growth in these ever-changing times.
Ben Frederiksen is an expert in helping companies innovate and grow faster, drawing on experience from hyper-growth organisations.
Inspired by his own personal experiences and deep research into other hyper-growth organisations, he founded his company ‘Innovate and Grow’ which is based on the 9 Domains which they have statistically proven to correlate with growth.
Hyper-growth organisations are those who achieve a 40% growth rate for more than one year. Due to this high growth rate, compared to other organisations, they often spend more time working in ambiguity, experience more frequent pivots in strategy and have to work hard to get ‘more from less’ resources. This produces many valuable lessons for others in today’s volatile world.
Ben has worked across the spectrum of growth, most recently as the Head of Customer Experience and Operations for Uber Eats ANZ and as a Digital Transformation Director for PwC across Americas & AsiaPac.
He has a breadth of practical Industry experience as well, having spent a decade in Fast Moving Consumer Goods with Lion and Nestle working across Sales, Service, Strategy, Customer Experience, Commercial Finance and in General Management roles. Prior to that, he worked across London and Sydney for PwC as a Chartered Accountant.
His career has provided him detailed insights into more than 50 organisations from which to draw experience for clients.
