Enough is enough and it’s time we take our power back. I recently hit a low point in the world of self comparison and I knew it was going to affect my mental health. After talking it out, I knew this episode was NEEDED. 

Way too many of us struggle with our body image and I want to empower you to reclaim your thoughts and to start fresh.

Take small steps every day to remind yourself just how amazing you truly are. Take time to practice self care that isn’t always on the go and slowwww downnnn. 

You truly are remarkable and it’s time we stop letting the outsiders hold us to standards we never got to decide on.

Today is all about perseverance! No matter what is going on in your life, you got this! There will always be bumps along the way and I share with you the bumps I've encountered recently in this episode, but the most important thing I want you to know is that I never gave up. I kept my eye on the prize and even though these aren't stories about winning a medal or hitting a written goal, they still matter. Life will require perseverance no matter how big or small the events are and it's better to practice in the small moments so you're better prepped for the big ones. So get ready, because I am NOT letting you slack! You got this! WE got this! Don't give up!!!!

I am soooo excited you all get to meet my dear friend Melanie Wells! She is truly an inspiration and her story will change the way you look at life and remind you that your time is precious. We are strong and deserve to LIVE our lives, not wish them away. I love her story and I know you will too!

The awesome thing about social media is how it connects us with someone many people who have so much knowledge to share with us, but the unfortunate thing is social media can be a place where a lot of people can say they know something, but they’re not experts like they say. 

Soooo... Hi! I’m Julie and I’m a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and women’s fitness specialist, and I can promise you that as a fitness professional there is NO perfect workout. 

Every day is different, every body is different, our moods can be different, our hormones are different (ladies- I’ve got a whollleeee episode on that coming soon!) and there is simply no workout that you should do the exact same way every day unless it’s walking. 

Studies show that no matter if the exact same person does the exact same workout as someone else, we are probably not going to have the same results. 

So what should you do if you don’t know where to start or what to do? 

In this episode, I walk you through step by step how to figure out what you like and what’s going to work from you, and how to create a balanced schedule based on your wants and needs.
