Catherine Alcorn is an Australian performer who's been channelling Bette Midler for 17 years. She created The Divine Miss Bette in 2009, and now she's got a brand new show called Midler and Me. She trained under Steve Ostrow, the man who discovered Bette Midler, and he told her he saw that same fire and star quality in her that he saw in Bette.

We went backstage at The Glasshouse in the City of Belmont to chat before her show. She talked about how she gets into character, whether Bette has ever seen her perform, what makes this new show different, and how she juggles performing, her podcast The Catheteria, and her work as a TV producer.
