EP 324 - The Urge To Purge:

A Purge Rest-O-Spective

A night to go out and do whatever needs doing with no worry about the law getting you down? Don't lie. You kinda think its a good idea. Which incodentally also make you a bad person. Don't get mad at us though, we don't make the rules. So since you CAN't actually do that, just crack a bottle of Founders Breakfast Stout and just forget about it. Cheers!

EP 323 - Who Invited These A**holes?

Uninvited guests are the worst. They come over unannounced, eat your food, drink your beer, and top it all off they cause you miss Jeopardy. Now we aren't saying that our situation is any worse thanbeing forced to murder your own family or go through a horrific home invasion....but it's close. BUT because were nice guys, we just crack a can of The Chosen One Coconut Cream Ale from 903 Brewers and ride out the storm. What else can you do?

EP 322 - BAD BREW: Battlefield Earth

Once every millennia, there comes a cultural event that becomes the defining moment of the culture itself. A moment passed on from elders to the younger generation over a glowing fire in the watches of the night, and a moment which historians reflect upon with bemused wonder. This is not one of those moment. This week we're brewing something bad, in the form of the 2000 film Battlefield Earth. So grab a tallboy of Laser Brain Double Dry Hopped IPA from Goose Island Beer Co. and join us. Cheers!!!

Episode 321 - Playing For Keepsies

Sometimes the most terrifying horror is the kind that comes from real life. If you've ever turned on your tv for more than a few minutes you know what we're talking about. The shootings, the fights, the looting, the reruns of Flavor of Love....ew. Its in that spirt that found footage movies have found their place in the horror movie world. This week we crack a couple Neil's Samoa Donut Stout's from Front Porch Brewing and take a look at a couple Found Footage movies and decide if maybe they should have stayed lost..

This week the boys catch up with their favorite Halloween masked killer (sorry Michael...) and find out if the remake is better than the original...or is it the requel better than the sequels? But then also is the sequel to the requel better than the sequels of the original? would that make it it a ....srequel? I'm confused.

Episode 317 - Into The Monsterverse: A Monsterverse Retrospective Pt. 1

What's not to love about giant monsters? Besides all the killing of innocent people, the massive amounts of damage they wreck on our cities and the whole "living in fear of their existence" thing, they're actually pretty cuddly creatures. And they don't really MEAN to do those other things. It's just part of taking the good with the bad. This week we dive into Legendary's Monsterverse to see if there's really anything to be afraid of. So grab a 4 Giants Imperial IPA from Founders Brewing and watch the world burn with us.

Episode 316 - The Locals Are Restless

Small towns are weird places. They boast themselves as "slices of heaven" or "hidden gems" of whatever state they are in. But in reality, if they were al those things...wouldn't everyone want to be there? But still, they survive on small populations and tourists to get by....now THAT'S weird. This week we take a look at two town's that illustrate just what we mean and wash the experience down with some Local's Light from Shorts Brewing.
