Welcome back to The Cabincast, Your Getaway Primer Podcast for those with a passion for cabins, rustic decor, the great outdoors, and nights telling tales around the campfire.

In the sixth episode, The Oil of Conversation, Kristin and Erik interview Peter Nomm. Peter is the founder and operator of Northern Waters Distillery, located in Minocqua, WI.

Peter and his wife Lisa founded the Northern Waters Distillery in 2013 in the historic town of Minocqua, WI.  Formerly the Golf Professional and General Manager of the Minocqua Country Club, Peter took the chance to bring a unique and intriguing business venture to the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin.  Their desire is to continually create new ways to enhance the flavors of their handcrafted spirits, all while sharing the journey and the process with others.  The distillery operations will be highly visible – we encourage all visitors to learn about the process, smell the mash, see the raw spirits flowing from the still, and complete the experience by savoring the finished product.

Your hosts Kristen Lenz from White Arrows Home and Erik Torgeson from Roughing It In Style begin the episode with one of their Cabin Chats.
