Hey hey! We are back after a 5 week hiatus, but I promise the wait was worth it. Today's episode is an extremely special one because for the first time, I talk about my identity as a Sindhi person. I embarrassingly admit that growing up, I did not think about my Sindhi culture, community & background that much but now being so far away from home, I want to understand and explore this part of my identity a lot more. 

Who better to talk to about this than Angelina, the founder of Sindhi Girl Gang. Her passion for the Sindhi people and community really grew few years back when she created Sindhi Girl Gang on Instagram. Her vision for the platform is to promote, encourage and unite Sindhi girls around the world.

She recently graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, and is now pursuing a career in Healthcare Finance. Growing up, her parents always emphasized the importance of giving back and building community, which is where her passion for healthcare stemmed from. She loves the idea of impacting lives in any way possible and wanted to find a way to bridge her love for health and healthcare with the excitement of business development. That's how PAANI was born - the need to fill the gap and find a solution for underserved communities using innovative strategies. She is excited to be at the forefront of the intersection between social impact, advanced technology, and cultural preservation.
