This is a continuation from Life of Christ 174a in which we discussed the circumstances associated with "road" Christ walked from Gabbatha to Golgatha, popularly known as "The Via Dolorosa" ("The Way of Sorrow").  Those circumstances included (1) the privilege of the Cyrene (Simon), (2) the Lord's prediction of sorrow, (3) the prisoners taken with the Saviour (the two thieves), (4) the place of the skull ("Calvary" or "Golgotha"), and (5) the passing of the sedative (Jesus refused to drink the vinegar mixed with gall to numb His senses).This lesson is found in written form (with accompanying Homework Questions) in "Caldwell Commentry" book "The Life of Christ Vol. 8 (available through www.scripturetruth.com).
