This episode is a personal reflection sparked by Luke 6:46 — "Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?" The speaker confesses a difficult day when they failed to live as the light Jesus calls us to be and resolves to put obedience and Jesus first.
They encourage fellow Christians to move beyond words to faithful action, stay focused on Christ amid stress, and pray for strength to live out His commands each day.
Prayer is a powerful tool against the evils of this world. We are asked to pray for others and we feel safe and protected when we know others are praying for us, interceding for us. When you are bogged down by worries, listen to what the speaker has to say about intercession for us by Jesus.
Join a reflective morning devotional where the speaker shares how a quiet time with Jesus transformed hurt feelings into forgiveness. Using Matthias Grunewald's The Crucifixion as a powerful illustration, the episode emphasizes the importance of making time for a daily holy hour, seeking God’s guidance, and responding with grace and mercy.
This episode shares a personal reflection on recognizing spiritual attacks—watching for chaos, negative feelings, and a desire to fix things—and how a foggy morning and biblical images of Gods presence restored the speakers peace.
Through scripture and metaphor, the narrator finds renewed joy and a reminder of Gods love, encouraging listeners to seek signs of His presence in everyday moments.
David's life shows how God chooses and uses imperfect people. Though he sinned greatly, David repented sincerely (Psalm 51) and accepted consequences while walking with God.
This episode explores God's mercy, His righteous judgment, and His ability to turn brokenness into blessing (as with Solomon), urging believers to seek repentance, faithfulness, and trust in God's loving discipline.
Coloring is healthy for behavioral and emotional growth. As kids, all of us hopefully enjoyed the benefits of coloring. Some of us as adults still enjoy it.
Coloring can be used as a metaphor for life: God gives each of us a unique page, tools, boundaries, and free will. Through Scripture (John 1:3; Proverbs 3:5–6; Isaiah 26:3; Genesis 12:1; Jeremiah 33:3) we’re encouraged to pray, obey, seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and use wise counsel when making big decisions.
Most of us know of the children's book, "Where's Waldo?". There is a picture and setup at the beginning of book which makes it easy to spot Waldo in the pictures that follow. You know what you are looking for when you try to spot Waldo.
Are you open to learning from all sources? Do you have the humility to absorb information presented to you that is biblically accurate but from a source that is questionable? We are wired to be cautious through generalization but God does not conform to human standards, His ways are higher that ours (Isaiah 55: 8-9)
Ever wondered why Jesus loves children? Why do we love children for that matter? Are we channeling Jesus or is there something special about kids? I am sure these sound like silly questions if you are thinking, “Of course we love children, they are cute and lovable”.
How do you respond to negative stimulus? Do you let your situation change who you are channeling? James calls the tongue the rudder of the ship in James 3:4-5. How is your tongue steering you?
