Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Join us as Dave and Shannon discuss why it is important to be the primary spiritual leader in your child’s life with our special guests: the Everitt and Simrak families! As a parent, sometimes the spiritual aspect of parenting gets put on the back burner. The church has approximately 40 hours a year (and now with COVID, it's even more minimal); while as a parent, you have about 3,000 hours each year with your child. In this podcast, we discuss the great commission in the context of family, setting our kids up for spiritual success, and how to communicate the ways our decisions are impacted by our faith. This is part one of a two part discussion.
In this episode our Director of Bridge Ministry, Jen Studt, interviews Mike DeCaro and Kelsey Suder - both local educators - on the developmental stages and how they should impact our expectations for schooling in-person, at home, virtually or anything in between.
On this episode Jeremiah Link talks with Stephanie Fink and Drew Krupp, parents and educators in our Calvary community, about ideas and resources for us as parents navigating this 2020/21 school year.
In episode two Jen Studt, our Bridge Disability Director, speaks to Breanna Yates and Kristen Yoder about walking alongside our kids as they make the transition back to school this year. Breanna and Kristen are both teachers in our communities and offer us wisdom and encouragement in this conversation.
In part two of episode one we talk about having grace with others, putting up boundaries, being honest about our emotions and so much more in our conversation about how we as parents and caregivers navigate the "new normal" this school year.
In this first episode we address the stress and anxiety we may be experiencing as parents and caregivers as we enter this 2020/2021 school year. In the midst of the global pandemic, school choice + virtual overload have us all in need of some encouragement and truth. This is a two part episode.
