First let us say, we are heartbroken and grieve for the loss of life in the recent shooting. The families are in our thoughts and prayers. We want to shed some Biblical light on a dark subject and a raging debate. Democrats fight with republicans, conservatives fight with liberals. The debate rages over gun control versus addressing mental illness. Both sides of the debate are misguided and lost. Gun control is an infringement on the 2nd amendment and only serves to disarm the innocent and arm the criminals. Trying to solve gun violence through mental health care is equally foolish. The mental health industry is a scam and based on anti-biblical philosophy. The hope lies in a return to biblical morality and salvation in Jesus Christ which gives a renewed mind.

Jude comes right before Revelation because Jude reveals life on earth just prior to the coming of the antichrist.

The Bible has a lot to say about what we wear. Like music, dress standards can be a gray area. It is hard to draw hard, fast lines from the Bible. However the Bible makes it clear there is an apparel that is "strange" (Zephaniah 1:8). There is an "attire of a harlot" (Proverbs 7:10). The Bible has much to say about what we wear. The problem is that many want to dismiss the plain and literal interpretation of the Bible and strip it of its power and application.

How can you say that you believe Christ, but deny His Word? If you say that Bible has errors, then you are saying Christ has errors, because His Name is Called the Word of God. If you trust Christ, and you are calling upon the Name of the Lord, then you are trusting the Bible. How can you trust God's Word and change God's Word at the same time?

It's not White Supremacy; it's Right Supremacy. If you stand with Christ and you believe in the sanctity of life and liberty you are a White Supremacist. The left is trying to destroy what is right. Puberty blockers are wrong. Homosexuality is wrong. Adultery is wrong. Racism is wrong. 

We sit down and discuss an article that supposedly addresses an inconsistency in desiring the "old time religion." What exactly is the old time religion? Can it be found in the independent Baptist movement. Should we get back to the "old paths"? Most criticism of conservative churches comes down to dress standards and music standards. Everyone has standards. When we try to ignore standards of holiness, whether in the home or the church, they will become a problem that we will have to deal with eventually. So we might as well just keep the standards high.

Music is a gray area. Trying to define right and wrong music always seems to bring us to a dead end. There is little in the Bible that defines right and wrong music. Much of the preaching on music is subjective and inconsistent. The right kind of music is the result of the right heart. It is a personal decision each individual must make, and to do so, we must be right with God and walking in the Spirit.

Communism is birthed out of socialism, and socialism is birthed out of theological liberalism. We wouldn't have the problems we are having today if preachers would stop shaking people's faith in the Word of God. 

The source of all liberalism is a poor handling of the Word of God. When we question God's Word, we are making our own understanding the final authority. The Bible says "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 16:25) A correct regard for God's Word will lead a person to trust that God has preserved His perfect Word for us today. We reject any doctrine that would attempt to erode this trust.
