"Getting the assurance of salvation" as it's mostly understood today is just simply not in the Bible. Going through a charade and scripted prayer again will not give Biblical assurance that one is the child of God. It just comes down to belief.

Numbers chapter 1 teaches how God numbered the people of Israel. Our nation started with these Biblical principles. We have since abandoned them and now suffer the consequences of fraudulent and complicated election "seasons."

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Psalm 14:1. This is referring to those who reject a final authority, many so-called Christians are guilty of just that.

What would it look like if enough Christians in America got right with God to actually make a difference. Could America deal with the wickedness without ripping apart at the seams?

Long prayers are evidence of a lack of righteousness and a lack of belief. Pray means to ask, and to ask over and over is to nag. Nearly all effective prayers in the Bible are precise and concise.

Proverbs 11:30 says, "He that winneth souls is wise." Sadly, many who can coerce someone into a sinners prayer are revered as wise, when in reality they are just good salesmen. Soul winners should not be salesmen.
