It is Black History month and I’m so excited to be extra black- all day every day. Blackity black black!! While I search for ways to teach my sons about the strength and beauty of being black, I can always count on my village to bless me with new information about our history. Specifically Darren who’s shouting out queer black people and Cookie who is highlighting black navy men and woman. We are a beautiful people and gone are the days of shrinking, cowering and accepting bad behavior as standard. Do better America cause we have time today, especially in February!
