The Canna Mom Show went to Vegas in December to attend the Women of Cannabis Conference. Wow! So before introducing today's guest, Nurse Julie Battel of CED Clinic in Brookline, Massachusetts, Amie and Joyce tell what happened in Vegas. They share not just their introductions to amazing women like Hash Queen Mila Jansen , Business Entrepreneur Stormy Simon, and Nichole West (who shared her remarkable story falling into the rabbit hole of cannabis regulations and losing her way), but stories about all the women from across the country who gathered at the powerful event.
Then they introduce their guest, Julie Battel, who has a background in public health, obstetrics and was a mid-wife for thirteen-years. When she was diagnosed with an auto immune disease that left her with tremors she had to pivot professionally and started down the path in cannabis care at CED Clinic in Brookline, Massachusetts with Dr. Benjamin Caplan.
Julie shares her own cannabis health story and then explains the process for medical card certification, which can feel intimidating but is really quite easy. So if you've been thinking about getting a medical card in Massachusetts, this is a show for you.

Marie Evan's motto for her mail-order CBD company, Get Colette, is Define Your Shine! Not only is she a powerhouse for her own CBD business, but she is empowering other women owned businesses in the CBD space. Marie's idea to introduce New England women to the potential CBD can have in their lives sprang from a survey she conducted a few years ago, and her own mother's experience using CBD to sleep.
As the daughter of a police officer, her personal transition into the legal cannabis world is only the beginning of the cannabis story she shares with Joyce and Amie. Marie explains how she is incorporating her corporate work experience in the wild-west world of CBD, the creation of her website which launched on November 4, 2019, and how she is creating positive CBD experiences for all her customers.
