I've never had a lot of luck with edibles. Either they were too weak or tasted awful. That changed Tuesday night when Jacquie the Baker stopped by the studio and brought some of her delicious and potent truffles to the studio. Thankfully they didn't kick in until after the interview!!! Jacquie gave step by step instructions on how to make canna butter which you can use in any recipe that calls for butter!!! In What's That Strain Chris Ianson our educator from Nova Cannabis profiled a gram of Wappa from Namaste I picked up. It's a pretty groovy trip. What isn't so groovy is what is happened in Revelstoke, B.C. recently and David Wylie of OkanaganZ.com spoke passionately about it in This Week in Cannabis News. Our Cannabis Character Cup is now in the 2nd round and we featured a first round knocked out actor in our Cannabis Character from the movie Dazed and Confused. The Meet and Green event that went down in Edmonton this week was a wonderful networking event. Brad Ward organized it and close to 50 people  were in attendance, from politicians to those in the cannabis industry, and those looking to get into the cannabis industry, as well as some people who simply enjoy the plant. It was a fun event and I look forward to the next one, as well as some smaller private events!!! In What's That Strain we dove into LBS (Leafs By Snoop) with Ocean View and Sunset, a wicked indica that gave me a terrific sleep after testing it out. The Cannabis Character Cup marches on and with some celebrity endorsement. Nora Salem from Bud and Bloom joined us to discuss the cannabis entertainment sector and what challenges she's come up against.
