In this episode, we are joined by Gianni Del Rosario Makridis. Gianni is a true plant enthusiast, who is currently pursuing his PhD in the genetics of medicinal cannabis at La Trobe University. He has dedicated his life to unlocking the therapeutic benefits of plants, and his work is aimed at discovering new and exciting therapies for patients. Gianni's journey into the world of plants began after working in the freight forwarding sector for a decade. He realised that he wanted to follow his passion for plants, and made the decision to switch to plant science. He graduated with First-Class Honours in botany at the end of 2017, and since then, he has been researching cannabis trichome genetics as a full-time Ph.D. candidate and teaching plant molecular biology to undergraduates as a casual academic.

In this episode, we are joined by Nahúm Felipe Ospina. Felipe is an entrepreneur, cannabis advisor, and public speaker. He is currently the Director of Business Development at Colombian Organics.
