'Peace is not the absence of conflict, peace is the presence of Christ in the midst of the conflict'.

It really got me thinking. Pastor Rob McCoy is the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel, Thousand Oaks California. I reached out to Rob and this is the conversation we had.

Andino the Magician - using magic to share the Gospel

In 2014 I was walking Hastings street in Noosa, Queensland when my kids pulled me over see watch a magician doing magic right there on the street. All these years later Andino the Magician without even knowing it sowed a small seed that in time would become part of my own journey to faith.

I love that I can talk movies with Dan. He knows everything, the directors, the cinematographers...in this episode of The Canon we review the movie 1917 which came out with great fanfare.
