Later on, as Wesley and Matt were likely to do during games, the two talk movies and comics books to close out the show.

In Episode 71, Wesley sits down with Ben Flanagan, last year’s surprise winner of the Falmouth Road Race. They talk about his professional career, rehabbing, tips for the road race and much more in the segment, 5 Questions That Have Nothing To Do With Sports.

In Episode 70, Wesley sits down to chat with first-year Falmouth Commodores GM Chris Fitzgerald. The two talk about all things baseball ranging from the 40-year championship drought, selecting players, lowering the qualifying innings number and the Cape League as a whole. Then, the two close the show by answering five questions that nothing to do with sports.

In Episode 69, Wesley Sykes talks with first-year Cape Cod Baseball League commissioner Eric Zmuda on a variety of topics ranging from week-long rainouts, hosting players, the charm of the league & maybe his picks for who wins the playoffs. Then, Wesley spent some time at New England Patriots camp and talked with second-year players Braxton Berrios & Ja’Whaun Bentley about this upcoming season.

In Episode 68, Wesley sits down with Sandwich High School athletic trainer Jillian DeCuffa to dissect ESPN’s recent two-part series on student-athletes specializing in sports & the toll it takes on their bodies. Are the risks worth the rewards (12:27)? Before that Wesley quickly highlights the Post 188 senior & junior teams regular seasons & goes Around the Horn for a stat-based look at the Cape League.

In Episode 67, Wesley sits down with Falmouth Commodores Liaison & recurring guest Ben Gavoni to talk about his internship with the CCBL. What’s his day-to-day like? How will this help in landing his dream job? And Wesley asks Ben 5 questions that have nothing to do with sports.

In Episode 66, Wesley & Rich are back in the booth to put together their best Cape League All-Name teams (33:03). But first we talk about some local HS athletes performing well in the offseason (2:00); Rich updates everyone on his novel ‘Season On The Brink’ (10:00); And what is going on with the weather on Cape Cod (18:27)?
