Infosys CEO’s Salary Increased To Rs 21 Lakh/Day! At around Rs 80 Crore Annual CTC, His Salary Is 872-Times More Than Median Employee Pay. It’s crazy that a CEO gets paid this kind of money when workers are still trying to make ends meet. Take for instance the CEO-to-worker pay ratio. Parekh’s compensation, Even if you exclude the stocks, it’s still 229x the median salary. And it isn’t just limited to Infosys. CEOs in private sector companies across  India make 137 times more than their median employee. In the IT sector, CEO pay is 141 times higher than the median pay. In the Pharma sector, we see a multiple of 238.

In this podcast we will discuss What is fortified rice, how is it made and what is the plan of Govt to deal with nutrition crises in India. Govt has announced that fortified rice will be distributed through PDS and other government schemes in three phases. The entire cost of rice fortification (around Rs. 2,700 crore per annum) would be borne by the Centre as part of food subsidy till its full implementation up to June 2024.  Fortified rice will be provided through Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS) under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), PM POSHAN and Other Welfare Schemes (OWS) of the government, a press release noted.  Through this decision, the government plans to make fortified rice available at ration shops. The target to achieve this is by March 2024, fortified rice will also be provided under PM-POSHAN scheme in three phases.
