LP was in California to drive the new GMC Hummer EV SUV, exactly one year after driving the Hummer EV pickup. The Hummer EV SUV uses a smaller battery, but still outputs ridiculous amounts of power, along with technologies that team up to build what GMC likes to call: the first “hypertruck”. Gab took the new BMW XM for a drive. This new addition to the BMW family is the first vehicle exclusively developed by the M division since the M1. Dodge has unveiled the seventh and last model of its “last call” series that bids farewell to the Challenger and Charger as we know them. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, is not only a 1,025-horsepower beast, it is the most

powerful Dodge ever produced. On top of its very potent powertrain, it comes with a series of enhancements – as well as curiosities like an exclusive set of whisky glasses and a decanter. Gas was on-site at the unveiling of the second-generation Hyundai Kona, a popular crossover that gets a revamp and an EV model that is set to lead the Kona range into the future.

LP flew out to California to test drive the long-awaited 2023 Subaru Solterra, which is a well-appointed electric SUV with great driving dynamics, but which comes with its red flags.
