Mayor Sam Hearn is the youngest Mayor we have had on the show being in his early 30's. His background is not-for-profit and community development has been a great benefit to him in his role of Mayor.

With a population of around 170,000 and up to 250,000 across summer, the Mornington Peninsula caters for a large population.

Local industry is diverse, across agriculture, wine, heavy industry, hospitality and tourism all playing an important role.

Iconic pubs are littered through the region, as are wineries, so there is no shortage of things to do! The area has been understated in the past but we don't think will last for much longer!

In this episode Roy chats with Lockyer Valley Mayor Tanya Milligan. The Lockyer Valley is well known for it's agriculture and fresh produce (where you can often buy from the roadside).
