I had the pleasure for the second time of speaking with Jon Berti now a member of the Miami Marlins.

Jon and I spoke about his whirlwind 2018. He was a member of 3 organizations. He won a Double A championship. He was called up the Toronto Blue Jays and got his 1st big league hit.

We spoke about all of that including the Manager's he played for this year.

The Cardy Show drove to Beachville this week in The Cardy Show Conversation. I visited with Dr.Stephanie Radu the Curator of the Beachville District Museum. I took a tour of the museum and sat down to speak with Dr.Stephanie to discuss the operations and successes of the Museum and we also discussed the first ever recorded baseball game in 1838 and dove into some other theories behind baseball’s origins. This was Stephanie’s podcasting debut. She did a great job so have a listen.

This is another great treasure in Southwestern Ontario. People need to go and visit the museum. Make it happen. You will not regret it. There is so much to learn about baseball and the area of Beachville and Oxford County.

It's been a great weekend. I highlighted the great Canadian Baseball History Conference here in London. I talked about why some people on Twitter need a reality check. Also some thought's on the World Series Champions as well as the Toronto Blue Jays Coaching Staff moves.

I introduced 42 seasons. The off season Cardy Show project. I talked about the Montreal Expos and why I believe through the great research of people like William Humber and Danny Gallagher the Montreal Expos got a team before Toronto.

Dave Glassford closed it out with the review. We talked NFL and some other sports. Dave gave his insight on Tuesday's midterm election.

Brent Lale from CTV London and The St.Thomas Sports Spectacular joined me for today's Cardy Show Conversation.

Brent talked about his role at CTV and how he has adapted to the changes that he was given. We discussed if the City of London had room to expand in the world of baseball and the CFL.

I had the honour and privilege to speak with Jody Vance. One of the people that inspired me to do this Podcast. Jody was the 1st female to host a Sports show in prime time in Canadian television history. Sports Central for Sportsnet in the year 2000 was the program.

We discussed:

- Growing up in Vancouver and being a sports fan in the city.

- Specualted on why the Toronto Argonauts are struggling to get people to BMO field

- Jody told the story about how she went from working in Vancouver to working at Sportsnet. ( Must listen!)
