Marie-Claire Daveu began her career as a technical advisor to the cabinet of Prime Minister, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, before becoming Principal Private Secretary to Serge Lepeltier, Minister of Ecology and Sustainability. In 2005, she became Director of Sustainable Development for the Sanofi-Aventis Group. From 2007 to 2012, she served as Chief of Staff to French politician, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, working in various secretaries of state and then at the Ministries of Ecology, Sustainability, Transport and Housing. In 2012, she was appointed Kering’s Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of International Institutional Affairs.  She sets out the strategy and ambitious objectives as well as implementing a set of best practices within the Group and the Houses. Today, Kering is a pioneer and recognized leader in sustainability. A French national, she is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Sciences (ENGREF). She also earned a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in public administration from Dauphine University, Paris.

Karin began her own career in human relations – employee training and reconversion – and those formative years left an indelible impression on how she viewed Human Resources. Karin learned the importance of combatting discrimination and witnessed the strength that some people gain from their fragile situations.

Karin has always had a taste for risk, complex and innovative environments. She joined LVMH in 2007 and feels at home there. For the past 10 years, she has worked in the area of talent and career management while developing and leading in-house coaching and leadership programs (EllesVMH coaching and Women@Dior). Identifying high-potential talents, showcasing their abilities, and finding the right environment for them to move up within the company is very gratifying. Pam Matthews is a proven industry leader with four decades of experience in the entertainment business. She began her career at age fifteen as a runner for Mid South Concerts in Memphis. Today, she serves the live entertainment industry as Executive Director of one of its most influential trade organizations.

Sam Donaldson was a news reporter based in Washington from February 1961 to October 2013, and was employed by ABC News from 1967 to 2013. He covered every presidential election during that time beginning in 1964, with the campaign of Barry Goldwater. He covered the war in Vietnam and the First Gulf War, he was ABC’s Watergate Correspondent, was Chief White House Correspondent covering presidents Carter, Reagan and Clinton. In addition to co-anchoring the ABC magazine program “Prime Time Live” with Diane Sawyer, he -anchored the Sunday program “This Week with Sam Donaldson and Cokie Roberts” and was the founding anchor of “Politics Live,” the first regularly scheduled Monday through Friday news program in the United States on the Internet. His awards include four Emmys, two Peabodys and the Edward R. Murrow Award.

Ms.Ronna Chao is Chairman of Novetex Textiles Limited, a textile industry market leader with operations across Hong Kong, China, and Asia. Since joining the family-run business in 2010, she has spearheaded initiatives that challenge and improve industry standards and practices, including The Billie System, an innovative upcycling process that endeavors to lessen environmental impact.

Supriya Singh heads Corporate Social Responsibility globally for Tata Communications and its subsidiaries. She has spent the last 13 years of her life in academia, and in improving the life chances of youth, women, and children. She has worked extensively with organizations like TERI, Going to School, Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, Centre for Science and Environment, Reset Berlin, SECMOL, UNICEF, and UNESCO. She was selected for the German Government’s leadership training program on Education for Sustainable Development in Berlin and is now a part of its 4-country Expert Net. She traveled to Antarctica in 2012 and is an alumni of 2041’s International Antarctic Expedition. Supriya is on the 2017 global listing of 100 most impactful CSR leaders. She has MPhil and MA degrees in International Relations from JNU, New Delhi and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Fergusson College, Pune. When she is not thinking about disrupting the CSR space, one can find Supriya on an island volunteering at local schools.

Hervé Duteil, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Finance, BNP Paribas

Hervé P. Duteil has spent most of his career with BNP Paribas in New York.  For over 20 years, he specialized in trading derivatives and managing capital market activities, spanning across commodity, currency, fixed income and electronic markets.  In 2014, he was appointed Regional Coordinator for Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Finance in the Americas, bringing a strong focus on promoting client dialogue around sustainability issues and developing tailored financing solutions or responsible investment products.  In 2016, Mr. Duteil led BNP Paribas’ efforts to close its first Social Impact Bond and regularly spoke on behalf of the Bank on a variety of sustainable products, including vanilla and equity-linked green bonds.

Mr. Duteil holds a Master in Business Administration with distinction from the Harvard Business School, a Master of Science from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor in Mathematics & Physics from the University of Paris.

Laura Zelenko is Senior Executive Editor overseeing talent, diversity, training, and standards across Bloomberg's global newsroom. As part of her role, Laura set out a comprehensive initiative to improve gender representation on every platform, including a tracking system for sourcing and a media training program for women executives. Within the newsroom, she works with managers to make meaningful progress towards gender parity and increased ethnic diversity at every level and leads new training, recruiting and development efforts to meet those goals. Laura began working for Bloomberg 26 years ago in Prague and has run numerous global reporting teams, most recently managing all of Bloomberg's business, finance, energy, and investigative coverage. She is a graduate of Princeton University with a BA in politics.

Art Bilger, Founder & CEO, is a venture capitalist who started WorkingNation in 2016 to bring attention to structural unemployment issues, the future of work, the skills gap, and achievable solutions.

Art has been an investor in, and director of, various private companies, including Akamai Technologies, where he served as Vice Chairman. He was also president and COO of New World Communications Group; a Founding Partner of Apollo Advisors; and Executive Vice President, Co-head of Corporate Finance at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He serves on the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Board of Overseers.

In addition, Art is Vice Chairman of the Skirball Cultural Center; a board member of Bet Tzedek; an advisory board member for the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging; and on the Executive Committee for the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation. He was an executive producer for the film 20 Feet from Stardom, which won the 2013 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Art earned an economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

First Job: “Runner at a small, but important, Wall Street firm when I was 16. I was the youngest runner by 50 years, but it led me to want to work on Wall Street which led to Wharton and UC, then joining Drexel Burnham as a young investment banker. This background is key to my focus at WorkingNation.”
